Schedules A and B are addendums to the Iowa 1040 for reporting specific deductions (such as taxes, medical expenses, donations, etc) and reporting dividend and interest income. If you wish to claim any of these deductions or have earned any qualifying interest or dividend income, you must file these schedules with your 1040.
